Who is Oasis Foods?

Oasis Foods is a privately held, minority owned manufacturer of high-quality foodservice products. For over 35 years, service is our value and we add value to every product we ship.

Where are you located?

Centrally located in Hillside, New Jersey, Oasis Foods is close to all major highways, Newark International Airport and ocean freight ports. 

What are your days of operation?

General office administration and Customer Service is available Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.  Shipping and Receiving is available by appointment only, Monday through Friday. Receiving is closed on Fridays.

How do I open an account?

We require a credit application to be filled out for all new customers. Please fill out credit application in its entirety to avoid delays in processing.

Do I need to fill out a credit application before I receive pricing?

A properly executed credit application is required prior to being quoted or put on our weekly price notification.

What is the lead time for a new customer before they are processed?

It takes about two weeks for a new account/credit application to be processed and established.

What is your minimum for pick-ups? Deliveries?

The minimum for a pick up is three (3) pallets. The minimum for a delivery is four (4) pallets.

What is your return policy?

All return goods require a RGA (returned goods authorization) obtained from your sales representative.  Your RGA will require product information and lot numbers obtained from the corresponding invoice.  Please have the information available when calling Customer Service at 800.275.0477.

Do I need an appointment to deliver?

Appointments for deliveries are required and can be arranged by calling Oasis Traffic Department at 800.275.0477 x 165

What are your shipping & receiving hours?

Shipping     7am to 3pm
Receiving     8am to 3pm  - Receiving is closed Fridays.

Can we park overnight at your facility?

There’s no overnight parking available at Oasis Foods.  Oasis Foods operates a secure shipping and receiving facility.  Use these links for local truck stop service information:

What are your check-in procedures?

•    Drivers check-in and chock wheels.
•    Remove keys from ignition and bring to check-in point.
•    Oasis dock supervisor will place the keys on the valet board.
•    Drivers are to wait inside or around their respective trailer/vehicle.
•    Trailer is loaded and dock doors are securely closed.
•    Keys will then be returned to the driver along with load paperwork.

How do I apply for employment?

Do your products have a shelf life?

Mayonnaise, non-refrigerated salad dressings, margarines and butter blends are shelf-stable for six months. Shortenings and oils are shelf-stable for one year in ambient conditions (50-70F).

What items do you sell that are gluten-free?

What is the acidity of our vinegars?

White and Red Vinegar have 4% acidity; Cider Vinegar and Red Wine Vinegar have 5% acidity.

What is the fry life of our shortenings?

Golden Fry Clear Shortening has an OSI rating of 40 hours.
Top Fry Creamy Liquid Shortening has an OSI rating  of 60 hours.
Ex-Seed High Performance Creamy Liquid Shortening has an industry leading OSI rating of 100 hours.
